Come si evince dalla casistica, si è particolarmente specializzato nella chirurgia dell'anca e soprattutto del ginocchio con esperienze italiane ed internazionali.
E' attualmente considerato uno degli esperti nazionali della chirurgia di primo impianto e di revisione delle protesi di ginocchio; grazie alla particolare esperienza acquisita nel settore, ha partecipato con interventi e relazioni ad importanti eventi scientifici italiani ed internazionali e tiene periodicamente, in qualità di Main Tutor, corsi di istruzione chirurgica.

Nato a Montecchio Emilia (RE) il 01/02/1955, conseguiva il Diploma di Maturità Classica presso il Liceo L. Ariosto di Reggio Emilia nell’anno scolastico 1972/73.
Laureato nel novembre 1982 in Medicina e Chirurgia presso l’Università degli Studi di Parma con tesi di ricerca in Clinica Ortopedica “La terapia Chirurgica Conservativa della coxartrosi”; iscritto regolarmente all’Ordine dei Medici della provincia di Reggio Emilia dal 23/12/1982.
Specializzato in Ortopedia e Traumatologia nel giugno 1990 presso la Ia Clinica Ortopedica dell’ Università di Milano.
